Baby Kanishka’s Achievement in Silambam Martial Art and in Marathon

 

About Silambam:

 

Silambam is a traditional martial art developed and roots in Tamil Nadu, India. Silambam is a Tamil word and the meaning of the name is “ sounds of the hills and nature". It is one amongst the oldest martial arts in the world. It is practiced with specialized weapons, typically bamboo sticks. It is a Tamilians’ heroic game.

 

Baby Kanishka is studying at our Mabel Day Care Centre. She has inbuilt gift in sports. Bethania Teachers and her parents encouraged and motivated her by giving daily practice to perform the task and from 11th to 13th October she participated in the 7th State Level  Silambam Competition, which is held at Selam district. She took part in the competition and  won 1st prize and got certificate and Medal.

 

Next she will be going to the National Level Silambam competition.

 

Baby Kanisha is doing her education at Mabel Day Care Centre, took part in Silambam competition and won 1st place in district level.  Staff and on behalf of the Trustees for bagging the First place in the Double Stick Silambam Rotation competition in Record time; and also the Staff and specially to yourself for training this girl to get this highest honor. We wish that you fine-tube her skills in this regard for future outstanding performance. We also record special appreciation for her parents.
